Hi Experts

I just am facing the micgration issue on Dynamics AX2012 R2 with Data import/export framework. The migration error occurs when preview click on the Staging data execution form below.

"CLR object cannot be marshaled to Microsoft Dynamics anytype"

More than anything else, Would you please let me know some hints to solve this issue? otherwise please let me know URL including solutions?

It seems to be some data issue.

Data in source is not getting assigned to staging table fields

I suggest you should consider validating and reviewing the data.

Are you getting this error always or at random.

According to your adive, I'm trying do that again with making small amount of staging table.then I would like to report you ASAP^^.

Can you indicate which source data format and/or file type you are using? (e.g. File (csv or txt), ODBC?

What datatype are used in the source?

I set Data type is ODBC in datasource.Currently it is okay from CSV -file to Staging table but the error occurs when preview click.

So you are able to import into staging, but the preview shows errors? Are you able to copy the staging to the target?

Can you include a printscreen with the error?

Hi Andre

I just solved this issue just now owing to my team help.The problem is to open 1422 port of Staging DB server which is connectd AX DB server that has Target Entitiy. Also The Staging DB server has SSIS.

From AX Client to AX DB server is openning anytime but Staging server' out put 1433 port was closed .

I don't know why this error message is displayed on this situation when preview click.

I had the same "CLR object cannot be marshaled to Microsoft Dynamics anytype" when trying to preview. Reinstalling the DIXF components (in my case Framework service, AOS, Client) did the trick. Didn't have to restart the server either.
