I have been helping a user with a reportthat uses a tree with lots of units. Several of the units have no data for the period being generated. All units are selected to generate in the report definition. For the units with no data a page is created in the viewer report that is blank except for headings and a notation that the report has no data. If the report is printed to paper the "no data" pages do not print. However, the user routinely exports this report to Excel and these no data units are exported as a blank tab in the spreadsheet.
Question: Is there is a setting either at report generation or when exporting from the viewer that would “automatically” exclude these “blank” units.
