Adding Buttons on Action Pane

Hi All,

I added Action buttons using Modifier, but it is not coming properly in Action Pane (See below). But it works fine if I change to Menu Bar instead of Action Pane in User Preference Window. Any idea what I am doing wrong.

Thanks for your post,

With the introduction of the ribbon (and web client) it has become more difficult to add buttons that participate in the "standard" menu behaviour. There is now code running in GP to move buttons around (really hiding them and ribbon creating proxy), depending up on the Menu Bar user preference settings.

This means you need to create custom form procedures in code (InitializeWindowRibbon) to deal with the ribbon when new buttons are added. Otherwise the buttons that are just dropped onto the form in modifier are just buttons on the form and thus do not behave as part of the menus.
