Hi Community,

I was trying to create a purchase return order but I was prompted this. May I know what does this means? I have checked that I have sufficient amount in inventory to do this.

I'm trying to reverse a Posted purchase invoice quantity to the inventory.

Hello Josh,

This error means that you have to create warehouse documents for return order. Create Warehouse Receipt, then process that warehouse receipt, and if Require Put-away is enabled you will need to create and process a warehouse put-away.

The process is similar to processing orders and invoices, you just need to create warehouse documents based on your location setup.

seems you need to create a purchase return order rather then a purchase credit memo directly. You then try to create a warehouse receipt.

to be exact, you need to check the location setup per suggestion.
