HI does anyone knows in what NODE does Freetext Invoice belong in the Database Log?

Hi,

Why do you want to track transactional data through the database log? How many free text invoices will approximately be created? Have you considered possible performance issues resulting from logging those data?

Hi Ludwig,

Our client need to track the changes in the freetext invoices and we have approximately 1000 free text invoices in a month. Yes, we already consider the effect in the performances when we enable the DBlog for the other tables needed. Do you happen to know where or in what node does freetext invoice belong in the database log?

Hi Chensa,

Basically to know which node that you need to pick up for database log, you need to know the configuration key of the table that you want to log. For example, the Free text invoice, the table of free text invoice are CustInvoiceTable and CustInvoiceLine. The configuration key of the tables is LedgerBasic. So you just pick up the node that displays the label (General ledger) of LedgerBasic configuration key. Under the node, you will find "Customer free text invoice" and "Customer free text invoice lines" table node.

Hi,

Please select the Parameter 'Show all tables' in the database log wizard. In the leger basic node you will be able to find the cust invoice tables. by selecting the next button you should finally be able to identify the customer free text invoice lines table.
