Xrm.Page.data.save keeps refreshing the page?

Hello,

I used this on the Order form in the ONSAVE and/or ON PAGE LOAD section of the Form JavaScript. However, I keep finding the form keeps resaving over and over.

I used this Xrm.Page.data.save() and Xrm.Page.data.save().then(thenSuccessFunction, thenErrorFunction); and even the Xrm.Page.data.refresh()

The function is NOT in a loop statement, so not sure why it would constantly keep doing that.

Thoughts anyone?

Check whether auto save is causing the issue

Refer manage-auto-save for details

I suspect that the reason is that calling save in the onsave event is the causing the onsave event to refire again.

Try putting a window level boolean flag to prevent the save from calling the save event again.

Did you put Xrm.Page.data.save() in the page load, if it is then please remove it and check it?
