Field name conflicts with new Microsoft fields

Hi All,

I'm trying to figure out my options for the following issue.

In minor release 17.3, Shortcut Dimensions 3 through 8 were added to the G/L Entry table. We built an extension to add Shortcut Dimension 3 Code to the G/L Entry table a while back and the field name is
"Shortcut Dimension 3 Code". This conflicts with the new field added in version 17.3 and now we cannot upgrade to the new version. We typically have a prefix for all new fields added, but we missed it on this field.

Based on what I can find online, there is no way for us to change a field name so we are kind of stuck. I tried to mark the field as Obsolete already, but that still does not resolve the main issue of the names being the same.

This issue is in a SaaS environment.

Your best chance is to contact Microsoft. We have way to do it on premise, but not on SaaS.

Unfortunately, you cannot fix this you need to contact Microsoft Support.
