Hey,

I want to clear all records in my contact database/list - how is that possible?

Tried it with the config-packages but that didn't worked out as I wished ...

Greetings,

I had do create a new package - now it works as it should.

Sometimes it's better to start at the beginning ;)

    Hi,

Import one record with the "Delete Table Records Before Processing" checkbox turned ON. Then, delete the imported contact.

If there are zero records to be imported, the "Delete Table Records Before Processing" flag will not work.

I hope this is helpful to you.

The easiest way is to do it in code.

But if you can not do it in code. You can try to use the edit in Excel if that function is available for the table you want to delete data in. It should be available for contacts.

So you use edit in Excel, delete all the records in Excel and then update back to Business Central.

    Hi

In configuration package if you download the package and delete all lines and leave only one line (it is important to leave one line) then select "Delete Table Records Before Processing" then it should delete all contact and leave you with one contact that you can delete manually.

What is your goal and why the above method did not work the way you wanted it?

The other method is to ask you partner to create a page that gives you access to entire contact table and then you can delete from that page.
