Please explain Interstore inventory transfer discrepancy management? New to FP2

Posted on by 155

Hi Folks

In the RMSFP2 whats new document it states:

Interstore inventory transfer discrepancy management

Discrepancies often occur between quantities issued from one store and quantities received at another. You can now mark which discrepancies have been resolved and which still need investigation. Filter transfer reports by the discrepancy status on the transfer orders to see those that need action.

Could somebody explain how to replecate this new feature?

Regards

Andrew

I hope that this information will help:

    Transfer Orders Match tab

To view this tab: In an inventory transfer report, double-click an order number to open the order, and then click the Match tab. This tab is only available for orders that have been issued and received.

After the stores have received the transfer orders and uploaded the information to Headquarters, you can use the Match tab to identify what each store has transferred out and/or received.

Status of quantity discrepancies: Use this field to track progress as you investigate discrepancies between issued and received quantities. You can filter inventory transfer reports to view orders that need action.

Note: This field is informational only. It does not affect transfer workflow.

    Best Regrards,

    Shawn with Microsoft Retail Support
