a/b testing for marketing emails

Hi, 

Unfortunately the release 1 product does not have A/B testing for marketing emails.

I recently reached out to someone at Microsoft to ask about this.

I was told its a future capability that is in the roadmap.

Can anyone expand on this please?

We have a customer for who this will be a showstopper.

    Yes, I already thought of that (and suggested it! :O))  but its not really an acceptable solution. As the customer would need to create two customer journeys (1 for the testing and 1 for the remainder) as well as splitting the segments/subscription lists.

    But thanks for the suggestion.

    I have heard back from Microsoft that it will be October 19 or later. So not really an imminent target!

    Seems a bit of a mistake to not include this functionality as it is standard in most other email marketing tools .

    What about Splitter Branches in Customer Journeys for random A/B Groups?

    Hi Iain Wicks,

    This feature is not part of the October 2018 release notes so it will not be available in the near future. If you need this functionality right now, you will need to use ClickDimensions.
