Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

Point of Sales System that can be integrated with GP Dynamics / CRM Dynamics

Is there a POS (Point of Sales System) that can be adopted that can be integrated into GP Dynamics and CRM Dynamics.

Our company has two small retail outlets, which reconcile accounts and transfer data to excel regarding days sales etc.... which is than sent to our Finance department for processing. We are looking at expanding our retail outlets, and hence the technology used.

Any ideas or suggestion would be great!

    That link already exists. Microsoft RMS links to MS Dynamics GP. If you can still purchase Microsoft RMS and then add the RMS connector to GP that would get you that connection. With this connection what you get are ledger entries. Now if you want to have customer detail information coming into GP then look at the retail solution from Nodus. www.nodus.com/.../retail_advantage.html

    Mr. Richard,

    I have seen several demos for Microsoft RMS, tested it overall and find its functionality quite powerful, especially when it comes to items configuration. Although, I was disappointed about the presentation.

    Compared to MS Dynamics POS, there is a huge difference to me. Microsoft Dynamics POS has such a friendly interface that could be amazing when deployed on a touch screen, with powerful capabilities for bottom level employees to upper level management.

    Unfortunately, it is only permitted to be sold in three countries as I remember; USA, and maybe Canada and UK. I do not understand why !
