Customer's Insights Match phase returns only single customer profile

Hi!

I'm trying to import contacts from Dynamics Sales 365 to CI. I'm using Common Data Service Data Source:

I have 12 contacts in Dynamics Sales 365 (it's Trial, not all contacts are on screenshot)

Since the limitation to have at least two entities to build unified customer profile - I used additional fake contact record. There is only single row and it is used only to have possibility to run Match:

But for some unknown reason Match phase returns only single record for each entity (and it should have at least 12 for "real" contacts):

Have you faced with such issues ? Are there any way to import contacts from single entity in Sales 356 (without adding fake contacts) ? Thanks in advance!

    Problem has solved automatically. Only "demo" contacts (that were created automatically with Trial instance) was not imported to CI. All other contacts (created manually) were imported !

    Hi Bill,

    Yes, I'm trying to get contact records only. "new_fakecustomer" records are junk and is only needed to have 2 entities for Match phase. There is only single record for "new_fakecustomer" in Sales365:

    I haven't got any deduplication rules. I've added one as you suggested:

    But it doesn't help - there is still one record for Contact:

    I think that the error is on Match phase, not Deduplication. I cannot understand one thing - why there is only single record for contact instead of 12 ?

    You're mainly just trying to get the records in from one set, is that right?  So the ones in the second set are pure junk correct? Is there definitely a name that's in the junk set? Do you have any deduplication rules?  If not, try to add one and see if set Record to Keep to Most Recent and pick ModifiedOn as the time.  This is kind of speculation but it looks like you've verified everything so far, the data is there so it's not an ingestion issue, the rest looks setup right.  I'm thinking the new_name field, if it's null could possibly be an issue (although that doesnt' explain why you're not showing 12 in source)
