Depreciation of fixed asset with multiple acquisition dates

Hi,

I have fixed assets in BC, where there are multiple acquisition dates, caused by additions to the asset. When I try to calculate depreciation, it only seems to calculate from the most recent acquisition line.

Is there any way I can make it calculate from all acquisition dates and combine it, including the earliest?

I have the same Scenario where one Fixed Asset has multiple additions (acquisition dates) and i wanted to know if this is possible or do i have to create other fixed assets and add them through Main/component Relationship.

Also wanted to know if i can change the number of depreciation years mid year and its effect on the depreciation calculation.
