Counting the entries in Timeline

Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to 'Count' the number of activities in a timeline on any particular record in Dynamics. I want to count the number of emails associated with every record and roll them up to Account. I am specifically looking to count emails for which regarding has been set from Outlook to a record in custom entity in Dynamics. Is there a way to count those emails? What filter can be used here?

Any help in pointing me to the direction would be great.

Thank you.

    Hi Partner

As far as I know this is not possible at the moment to filter and to have a count with detailed criteria

    Hi Aneeqa,

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by counting " number of emails associated with every record and roll them up to Account".

You can count emails associated to a record in multiple ways:

    • You can also consider displaying the related emails in a form subgrid that will display the number of records (if the subgrid is displayed in a grid format).
