Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to 'Count' the number of activities in a timeline on any particular record in Dynamics. I want to count the number of emails associated with every record and roll them up to Account. I am specifically looking to count emails for which regarding has been set from Outlook to a record in custom entity in Dynamics. Is there a way to count those emails? What filter can be used here?

Any help in pointing me to the direction would be great.

Hi Aneeqa,

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by counting " number of emails associated with every record and roll them up to Account".

You can count emails associated to a record in multiple ways:

Count the number of associated emails with a whole number rollup field.
Calculated and rollup attributes (Microsoft Dataverse)

You can also consider displaying the related emails in a form subgrid that will display the number of records (if the subgrid is displayed in a grid format).

As far as I know this is not possible at the moment to filter and to have a count with detailed criteria
