Price Lists

Good day,

I am very new to BC. In Price Lists a Promotion can be created with a certain range of items for a particular period. Please correct me if I'm wrong, you can also create a price sheet where if you buy 10 cases you get a 15% discount, if more cases the discount amount may increase, but this is for a specific item.

What if a customer wants 10 cases but 5 cases in one item and 5 cases in another item, can this be set up where the customer gets the 15% discount? I'm looking at wholesale customers.

Regards
Rosemary

You're absolutely right that Price Lists  can handle tiered discounts like "buy 10 cases, get 15% off" — but typically this is based on quantity per item. So if you want to offer a combined quantity discount across multiple items, required customization, because standard BC doesn't support this out of the box.

    Hi Rosemary,

If you want to customer discount with different item I would request consider using Customer discount group or Campaign. Its not perfect but invoice discount and customer discount should help solve the issue.

    Thanks
    Ramesh

Hi, There are currently two types of price modules. Please pay attention to whether you are using the new or current one.

    Thanks

    Good day,

Thank you all for your responses, the documentation is very helpful. I like the Campaign option, not keen on too many customizations.

    Thanks very much!

    Rosemary
