I am up grading to GP 2010. Currently loading history, 2009 went in ok 2010 went in but the Summary trail balance and the Detail Trial Bal have different values. The Detail TB has the values I imported and is correct. How can I get Summary TB to pull same values and Detail TD

It does help. Can you get IM to give details ie G/L 12151-023089-03 Dr 5597.20 not imported beacuse....
It seems as if IM will not import the 2nd GL entry in the same month. We are importing Detail net change and will want to see it we hit a G/L twice. It usually means a reversal for some reason. I have about 20 G/Ls that will not import all records and I believe that this is the reason. If so is there a work around. If I key it in it will stay. There are 30,000 entries.
Each GL has a note which is an reference number from the old accounting system. So if account 10000-000000-00 is in the same month 3 times for the same amount, it has a different ref number that we need if we ever have to go to the old system to find details
Anthony, you need to look at the Integration Log under View>>Integration Log. The Log will show you all the records that were processed and whether they succeeded or failed and the reason for failure.
I like to have my Integration Log stored out to a file. To direct the Log to a file, with the Integration open, click on Integration>>IntegrationName File Properties>>Logs. Change the Storage Type to File and specify a path to save the Integration Log file to. You'll get a text file which can be opened in Notepad or Excel.

Not sure what the issue was. I deleted history and restarted the process and everything was fine. I do know table zero was not populated.
Now having issues with importing with IM. Know of any way to get detailed error info. I have some entries not coming across. Not sure that it is but the import is 30,000 entries so any detailed help I can get from IM would be great
When you say your are importing your data, did you import 2009 into an open year and then close it so the balances would be brought forward into 2010? You would then repeat the process bringing in the 2010 data and then closing 2010. I think the problem is in your balance brought forward amounts. Perhaps you jaust dumped in two years of data and jsut need to close 2009 and then 2010?
table zero was not populating not sure Why. Ran reconcile for all Fy's in database. A batch was posted that was unseen. I was only trying to reconcile FY in question. Everything is okay if I can get im to import my data

Two things I'd check - are the report options set the same in both reports? If you haven't yet, run the Reconcile utility on your transaction tables.
