Hi All,

One of my client asking for integration with third-party application to Dynamics 365 for Finance and operations.

1. Third Party Application .Net (VB) Based.

2. End of the day Third Party Team Generates files from Application. (XML Format).

3. Existing Legacy ERP have Form option called with Data Import (XML Sheet Upload).

4. Now Client is asking for integration Third Party Application to D365 FO. (Real Time Integration)

5. We Suggested for Recurring Integrations and client is asking for Middleware (Biztalk Server).

6. As of my knowledge we don't have Biztalk Server in D365 FO.

Please suggest Better Solution for Integration.

Regards,

RakeshReddy Pidi.

Data Masons Vantage Point is certified for D365FO. (I do not work for them but have come across their integration frequently in my 10 yrs working with Dynamics AX - D365FO

BizTalk is a separate product; it isn't and it never was inside Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365. But it can call web services exposed by AX, of course. Nevertheless if you don't need any other logic, you can call them directly and you don't have to invest into BizTalk. If you do have some extra transformations or so, consider Logic Apps too.

I also wonder what you mean by "Real Time Integration" if the application merely generates a file once a day. Maybe using something like the Recurring Integrations Scheduler is all what you need, without making any change at all to the Third Party Application.

You can use LogicApps to pickup file from OneDrive and push it to OData endpoint in D365 samples are available on GitHub github.com/.../File-based-integration-using-Logic-Apps

But ideally I would call D365 directly from .Net app without files.
