    Hi,

We used BYOD for managerial reports for performance and for integrations which do not need so much real time data and for multi programme data to be summed in one database.

    Hi Komi and Billuar,

It's still not clear to me.

So let's say I created an export project where I created a recurring job from it and there was a middle ware that pulls from the recurring queue.

Now if I want to Involve BYOD, what would be different to this?and why would I use it ?

    Hi IntegrationBeginner,

BYOD (Bring Your Own Database) is a feature that you can export data to a Azure SQL database that you can use a source for you reporting solution (PowerBI) or as data hub for integration purposes. Data will be exported via data entities existing in data management framework.

Ref. to Microsoft docs it is recommended for following scenarios:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../export-entities-to-your-own-database

-You must export data into your own data warehouse.

-You use analytical tools other than Power BI, and those tools require T-SQL access to data.

-You must perform batch integration with other systems

    Hi Alireza,

So based on the question I asked above in the last comment.

If I have an export project where I created a recurring job for it and there is a middle ware that is pulling from the queue.

If I now go to and click configure entity export database to add the database (BYOD) what would happen differently?
