Lead Scoring - Brochure URL clicks

Im trying to assign points when a visitor to a tracked page click on a Download Brochure link.
No form is required as the brochures are free to download.

Since this is a scoring model used for all free brochures available on our website, i have specified the the page address must contain /brochures-datasheets/ since all my brochures reside within this file structure on my website.

However, the +20 points is not being added to my overall page, even though the url is being shown in my website interactions on insights.

Any tips?

The brochure download with the click registration is on a Product Page A. The Lead form is on the next page Product Page B, which is completed to create the Lead. The brochure click is shown under Web interactions , but its not applying the +20 points to the overall score

RE: Lead Scoring - Brochure URL clicks

Do the visitors ever fill out a form? Without them filling out a form visitors and their activities will remain anonymous and won't be connected to a specific lead/contact. The website visits will show the anonymous unique visits but without the form submission those visits won't be associated with known leads to be used for lead scoring.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/cookies

Whenever a contact submits a marketing page, Dynamics 365 Marketing correlates the behavior-analysis cookie ID with the incoming contact data submitted with the marketing-page form. In this way the cookie ID becomes mapped to a Dynamics 365 Marketing contact ID, so now we can determine who has been browsing the site.

You could consider adding at least one form submission so that users go from anonymous to known and then you could use the lead scoring mechanism.

    Thanks
