How to approve a PO workflow that is 'in review' on development system?

Hello,

I have a development cloud hosted system where I've changed some data types. I want to see how these affect a Purchase Order Printout. I created a PO and submitted it to workflow. It's still 'in review' over an hour later.

Where would I look in the system to move this workflow forward?

Thanks again.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Jim,

Under Windows services , check if the Microsoft Dynamics 365 : Batch is running.

Good point, but yes it's running.

Is there something in system where I can check if the workflow is stuck waiting for another user role in the system to do something to it?

    Check the workflow batch processes

Navigate  to - System Administration > Inquiries > Batch Jobs - enter workflow in the filter field. They need to be in 'waiting ' state.

Hi, If workflow batch jobs are also running then Please check last step in workflow history, it might be waiting for some approvals.

    Hello Komi,

    There are 4 jobs

I was going to set them to waiting... but... and this is a big BUT... will that start emailing our users if there are things that will cause notifications?  Our users will sure as ____ be confused and I'll catch heck.

What can I do to prevent any emails going out?

Tracking details on the workflow just shows the step where it was activated.  It might be related to what Komi suggested.  I'm just very cautious out the system accidentally sending out messages.

If I set the system administration, email parameters to just ENABLED on EML | Use an email app, such as Outlook. Would that effectively block any autosent emails?

There is a batch called email distribution batch, probably that is off in your box so email won't go.

Check in case that is running.
