Is it possible to change the field label only on a certain view?

It is not possible to change the field label on a certain view.
You can change the Display Name of the field and it will change the field label on the view.
What is your scenario to change the field label just on one view?
The requirement is due to an Excel report that is produced from the view. On the main form, the field is referred to as one thing, but on the Excel report it needs to be something else....
Maybe you can try it the other way around. Change field display name so it works for the report, and, then, adjust the label on the main form.
That would work. Could you advise how best to achieve this?
Should be straightforward:
1. Go to the customizations area in CRM, find the field under your entity, double click, change the display name.. publish..
From there on, that display name will be showing up in the reports/views.
2. I'm not sure if you actually need to update field label in the form after that (or if it will still be using old name).. To be safe, open the form(in the customizations, again), find the field, double click.. set the lable you need.
