Ability for Worker to build Pallet (or License plate) for Sales picking Work / qty

Hi All,

I have a requirement wherein I want to generate / print License plate before hand and then once SO has been released to Warehouse and Sales picking Works have been created, I want to pick items and add them on to LP I pre-generated. I also want to mix SKU/Qty on LP with a flexibility for a Worker to do it using WMS app.

Example:

Sales picking Work 1 - Item A  has 10 boxes to be picked

Sales picking Work 2 - Item B has 20 boxes to be picked

Now, I want worker to scan License plate first and pick /move item A - 10 boxes on to it and then Scan same License plate and move item B 15 boxes on it, and then remaining Item B 5 boxes on to a diff LP by scanning it (or the one generated before hand)

Please advice

This will be done by Location Directive allow split option. once you set that up. then while picking you can pick 5 pcs and close pallet and the rest can be scanned to a new pallet. Please let me know if that works

    No, it doesn't solve it.

Location directive - allow split has nothing to do with this requirement.

As I mentioned in my case , I want to put multi sku on LP which I created in system manually before SO release to warehouse.

I want worker to pick from respective location suggested by location directive then put to any LP ( created in system beforehand) as chosen by worker for sales pick work.

Pls advise if anyone has dealt with this requirement.

    Thanks

    Hi,

You might want to have a look at the pick and pack feature. The disadvantage in your scenario is that this feature forces you to consolidate the work IDs upfront. Other option you might want to have a look at is the consolidate LP menu item via which you can consolidate the LPs after they have been putaway to a staging area. Disadvantage in this case might be that you first need to bring the goods to a staging area before you can consolidate everything. Also, it doesn't allow you to define the quantity you would like to consolidate. However, the latter might be something you can solve via a small modification.

    Thanks,

    Alice

    Hi Alice,

Thanks for your suggestion, I think Pick n Pack feature is likely to meet my requirement however could you please advise how should I setup LP label printing.

As of now I m using Print step (after Pick) in Work lines however after combining Work IDs (using pick n pack) I end up getting LP label printed out per Work ID instead I want now LP label to be printed per combined Works (via Pick n Pack feature), do you have any suggestion here?

    Thank you.
