Production Order Picking

I am setting up production process for client. I see that the picking list can be posted on Start of production order. Can you pick the stock before the order has been started? Preferably during the Release stage?

    Hi Antigonie,

    Do you want to print the picking list journal?

    If so, you can manually create the pick list via the pick list journal and then print it.

    System does not only allow posting pick list before start status.

    Hi Mattguo, thank you for the response. I want to be able to print picking list on Realease of Production order, and once i have picked everything and have it prepped at the production site, i can then start the production order.

    To confirm, "Posting picking list" - does this mean just creating the picking list or updating the picked quantity in the system?

    Hi,

    During doing the start step.

    If you check post picking list button, it will update the picked quantity.

    If you does not check post picking list button, it will just create picking list journal and then you can manually post it.
