hi
Is it possible to easily add a new field to a drop-down list?

As a developer, yes.
As an end-user, no.
Thanks Martin
I'm a functional consultant.. how technical is the dev required?
Could I maybe do it?
Hi James,
This can be done by changing the table in the AOT if the lookup is an auto-lookup. In the field group AutoLookup, you can add new fields. If it is based on a form or a run-time based on coding, it is also possible, but different.
Have a look at the documentation here: msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa597861.aspx
You shouldn't try to bypass your development team. For example, you may not know how to put your changes to a version control (so they can be released later) and you probably don't have permissions to do it, maybe you don't have access to the right layer and so on.
