Hi,

In the main form of the account entity, i have a section called Notes and Activities which include three tabs: Posts, Activities and Notes.  We are noticing that when we are tracking an email to a specific account via outlook,  the new activity is also showing up under a different account where the contact of those accounts is the same. 

Is there a way to edit the Activities section to filter out those records not directly link to that account?

    Hi,

     this is called "activity rollup": crmbook.powerobjects.com/.../activities-and-notes-best-practices

     I don't think there is any "supported" way to disable it except, maybe, if you create a pre-retrievemultiple plugin and modify the query there. On the client side.. The link below might give you some ideas, but all those customizations are unsupported:
