Warehouse Mobile Device - Invalid work execute mode.

I've added a custom mobile menu to the mobile device using the following blog as a baseline:

https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dynamicsaxscm/2015/03/13/creating-custom-solutions-with-the-warehouse-mobile-device-portal/

The purpose of my mobile menu is to release a production,  utilizing the ProdMultiRelease class. (I would be happy to provide code snippets if needed).

After all is said and done and adding the menu item to my mobile device menus, I am able to successfully run it through the mobile device simulator in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

However, when I try to do this from internet explorer, as soon as I click the menu button I am presented with this error:

Release-Prod-3.png

Is there a setting somewhere that states I cannot execute this menu item from the web? I've tried to research this issue and where I could potentially make a modification but could not find anything.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to provide the code for the displayForm, executeWork, etc classes if needed.

There is some difference between the AX Client Emulator and WMDP. The WMDP executes code on the Server, where as the Emulator executes client side. This has caused us problems in the past, when making customisations. I'm not a developer, but are there some X++ commands that cannot be run Server side?

There is also some isCalledFromWebPortal logic in some of the standard methods.

Do you have a solution that works?
