Find item on Sales Order

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Just implementing NAV 2015 in our company. Item setup still in flux so we recently had to

try to edit a UOM but couldn't because it existed on a Sales order (makes sense). Is there a quick way

to find an item on a sales order (without a 3rd party Add on?) short of examining each  SO? Thnx in advance.

You can open the Sales Line table in Development Environment and filter records by item number. Also, as Mohana suggested, you can drill down to the list of Sales Order from the item card from the Qty on Sales Order field:

Also, you can access the same list of Sales Orders by clicking "Orders" in the sales section of Home tab in the list of items view:

    Open Item card.

Please find field "Qty. on Sales Order". Click on the drill down.,

it will open all sales order lines where item is used.
