Dual Write - Project Operations to Finance and Operations Sync

Hi All,
 
I have integrated Project Operations with Finance and Operation app with the help of Dual Write but as its initial setup is done and Projects are synced from Dataverse to Finance and Operations it is not editable rather when the Project Operations is disabled in the Finance and Operations the data can be created and editable.
Is it an Out of the Box behavior of the Dual write in Finance and Operations and if so would it be completely different from PSA to Project Management Accounting.

    Project Operations in the resource and non-stocked deployment mode has a view on project lifecycle that is persona-based with the core guiding principle that one persona should not have to access Dataverse and F&O in order to get their job done. With that guiding principle, all operational scenarios are implemented using Dataverse platform experiences and all financial scenarios are implemented using F&O platform experiences. Any legacy operational experiences around projects in the PMA module are turned off and equivalent experiences in Dataverse should be utilized. This also reduces duplication of experiences and reduces confusion.
