I work on AX2012 R3
I created 1 item line in a sales order with quantity 100 Pcs and choose the warehouse “A”, now I create 1 picking list for 40 Pcs from warehouse “A” and posted it, now a I need to create another picking with the remaining quantities 60 Pcs from warehouse “B” I need to know how to do that ? The warehouse field is disabled in the picking list screen and it is read automatically from the warehouse in the sales order.
I tried workaround solution which actually not practical and I face another problem, I changed the warehouse to be “B” on the sales order after creating the first picking list then I created the second picking list and posted, then I complete the registration for the 2 picking list so the status now for the whole quantity is picked, but when I create the packing slip I found the system show me the item on 1 line only by the whole quantity 100 Pcs from the warehouse “B” which is now on the sales order !!!
I thought that I will see in the packing slip 2 lines for the same item, first line for 40 Pcs from warehouse “A” and second line for 60 Pcs from warehouse “B”.
If you know solution for this case, please share with me.
Please note that I’m not using the Warehouse Managment module.
