MTD - HMRC Obligation Request Error (403)

I'm having an issue when sending off a VAT obligation request through MTD. I get this error code: Exception at level 0 Message: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.     Hi Syed,

    Did you do some service update to your D365 system recently? If yes, please check if there is a latest package that has realized related to UK MTD. (Inside the package details, it explains the required latest versions of each MTD configuration)

    Sometimes we need to have the latest version of MTD reporting format configurations to proceed with this process. So you need to import the latest required version of the configurations from ‘configuration repository’.

    Hi Syed,

    Please right click, view details and add the vat number and you will be able to add the vat number.

    If you still face error, please log a support ticket with MS.

    You mean in the following fields? I tries but its not accepting the VRN.

    Hi Syed,

    After creating Test User, add the VAT number of test user in D#^%>>Organization administration>>Legal entities>>Foreign trade logistics>>Intrastat export and import field.

    I created the test user from HMRC website and obtain the access token but getting error at Test retrieve VAT obligations.

    Error: "Exception at level 0 Message: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.     Hi Syed,

    You can create the Test user from the HMRC Website- Create test user - HMRC Developer Hub - GOV.UK.

    You cannot create user on D365

    Hello Anthikala,

    When creating a new test user I am getting this error "Electronic message action with "Generate test user request" name is not supported by "MTD VAT interoperation (UK)" format. Action canceled." Please advice.

    Hi Syed,

    I had the same issue a few months ago and I was able to solve it by creating a new test user. So please give a try to submit the test VAT using a new test user account.
