Are product family and unit group connected?

Dear Community,

I have a question about setting up products and unit group. My main concern is that once we set up a unit group, this unit group can be applied to all the product family/product, correct?

Let's say a unit group is: Drinks; Primary unit is: bottle. So all the products related to drinks can use the same unit group?

How can I make sure if I want to set up different prices for different products for the unit:bottle?

    Hi Dynamics try-to-be-advanced user,

    You could create price list to do this.  In Sales, Product, Unit and Price list are tied to make sure each product 's price. Please refer to this doc(docs.microsoft.com/.../create-price-lists-price-list-items-define-pricing-products).

    I create Milk and Coffee product to test, their unit is bottle and have different price:
