Hi experts,

I hope you can help me.

I have a situation where we have created a raw material and made a inventory receipt.

We forgot to activate traceability and my idea is to rename the current item and make a copy of the item and on the new item activate the traceability.

Then I need to update the BOMs with the new item number.

Now I want to transfer the qty on the renamed item to the new item.

You can use the item journal, do a negative adjustment for the old item and quantity, and then a positive adjustment for the new item and quantity
