Dynamics 365 Web Application Server without Database Connectivity

We are planning for a CRM deployment where the Front End Server should not have a port directly open to the Database due to security concerns where Web Application Servers should not have an open connection to DB. How should our Server roles, architecture or Configuration be done to achieve this?

I have the same question (0)

    Dear partner,

You will be not able to achieve this.

You can move the FE and DB to secure zone where PORT is not exposed to outside world.

Thanks for the reply. The Front End Server requires to Open port 443 which will ultimately expose it outside. Is there a way to access port 443 from CRM indirectly ?
