AX 2012 R3 CU8 - TMS Error while confirming transfer order shipment

Hi all,

I'm working with the new transportation management module on an AX 2012 R3 CU8 environment.

The problem i'm not being able to solve is to add a transfer order line to a load; then, adding that load to a route and finnally confirming the shipment in order to confirm the route.

The step that i haven't been able to complete yet is the shipment confirmation.

When i click on "confirm outbound shipment" i'm getting the following error message:

Has anybody ever seen that message? Whay could it be related to?

I'm getting that message while assinging a "delivery term" with the "Add transportation charges to orders" checkbox checked to my transfer order, or without checking it or without adding any "delivery term".

Think i'm missing some setups.

Hi All, I am experiencing TMS error upon outbound shipment processing

Transportation log shows:

Exception at level 0

Message: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

Source: mscorlib

Kernel AX2012 R3 CU9 6.3.2000.4487 application: 6.3.2000.323

Has anyone seen similar error

Hi Roobesh K,

There can be several reason for the error to come and its for sure a setup issue.

Make sure load is having status "loaded" and also see if its not flagged invalid on the load header.

If this does not help share the detail of load, shipment and work making sure there statuses are visible on the screenshots.

Hi Roobesh K,

Is it possible that your shipment doesn't equal your origin order exactly?

I realized that when you release less quantity for one line or just partial lines, then you will get that error.

There is a HotFix that solved the scenario I'm describing.
