Hello,

Hope you are doing good!

We are trying to update the cloud hosted environment from 10.0.17 to 10.0.18 and it is failing at step 27 : Update script for service model: DevToolsService on machine: xxxxxx.

Tried solution from below thread

but when I try to install the .NET 4.7.2 runtime, system says this is already available, shown screen below

Please let me know if I am missing anything here. Thanks!

One more issue here is that I am unable to see the "Dynamics 365" tab in visual studio and when I try to add via Tools > Extensions and updates > online unbale to find the "finance and operations dynamics 365" extension.

Hi MSandy,

Ensure you have Visual Studio 2017 installed on this VM prior to the update. Visual Studio 2015 support has been deprecated.

Thanks! Installed newer version of VS 2017 components using VSIX file of latest service update package and it resolved the issue.
