Visual Studio Page Break on Report

Dear Experts,

I can't get my head around with report building (it's all new to me).  I have a report from AX with list of the names from A-Z in 1 column. I would like to insert page break/filter so the names that starts with letters A-D prints on 1 page and E-H on page 2 etc.

Regards

V

    Hi Martin,

I sort of find a way to create groupings and page breaks via VS, but it refers to my next question -> community.dynamics.com/.../220466

Could please give us more details about your problem? If you don't have a suitable column, you can easily create a new one.

    Hi Ren,

It works fine when creating a parent group and setting up parameters, but the problem I`m having in my report - i do not have extra column with to group them as. every row contains different information.

Maybe you could create a group for each letter, set a page break at the end of the group and then write an expression for the Disabled property to apply it only when needed (for D, H etc.). Or something like that.
