Components not getting deleted after "Apply Solution Upgrade"

Hi Everyone,

I followed the same way that is defined in this link to delete the components from Managed solution. Everything went good and it is not throwing any errors but the components are not getting deleted. What could be the reason?. Below are the observations.

I verified in my "customization.xml" manually to make sure the component is not present
I can see 2 solutions after Import
I observed that the base solution got deleted after "Apply Solution Upgrade"

Note: The components that needs to be deleted are present in another Managed solution in the target system. This could be the reason for this? small guess :)

Hello ,

Did you choose overwrite customization?

Try with check overwrite customization and stage for upgrade both at reception of import.
