Identify custom index created in CRM 2011 database

In the tips provided by Microsoft it was mentioned that before the upgrade from CRM 2011 to 2013,
It was suggested to remove custom database objects such as triggers, statistics, stored procedures, and certain indexes.

(1) How do we determine/identify the custom index created in CRM 2011 database?
(2) Do we need to re create the custom index when upgrade is completed?

RE: Identify custom index created in CRM 2011 database

    Hi,

not sure it's the easiest/fastest way to do it.. but you migth create a new organization, copy all customizations from your current organization to the new one through a solution file, and, then, compare those two databases. Whatever index you will find in your current organization that won't be present in the newly created org is, likely, a custom index.
