Dynamics GP Web Services 2010 - DynamicsGPWebService.asmx not found (400 Error)

Hi, I have been trying to resurrect an old implementation of Microsoft Dynamics GP Web Services for Dynamics GP 2010.  It was up and running at one time and after updating all the service logins everything seems to be running.

I have successfully verified GP 2010 Web Services installation by following the steps here: support.microsoft.com/.../950844.  All URLs are correct in the config files and service definitions are visible from the browser.  Additionally, the Web Services Exception Management Console is running without errors and I can view the policies on the Dynamics Security Console.

However, when I try to navigate to the .asmx in my browser (below) I get a 405 error.

http://<SERVERNAME>:48620/DynamicsGPWebServices/DynamicsGPWebService.asmx

"This error (HTTP 405 Method Not Allowed) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but the site has a programming error.

For more information about HTTP errors, see Help."

I have tried running a repair and removed/reinstalled web services via the GP Web Services Configuration Wizard.  However, I'm concerned because when I visit the physical path of the DynamicsGPWebServices application set in IIS (C:\inetpub\DynamicGP\aspnet_client\system_web) it is empty.  Do I need to do a complete re-install of the GP Web Services?

Thanks for any insight. I have searched and tried many solutions online but none seem to solve my problem.  A re-install would be my last resort.

Reinstalling WS would be the quickest way I would say but you may not need to because you don't need to use the .asmx in GP 2010. Check out this KB:
