How can i handle the item transfer between the 2 WIPs to perform the 2 operations?

Dear All,

If i have one Route with 2 different Operations occur on 2 different resources in 2 different WIP warehouses ..

Example:-

Item "xyz" is being manufactured on 2 operations (Manufacturing & Painting), The Manufacturing operation is occurs in WIP-1 and Painting Operation occur in WIP-2.

Hint: WIP-1 and WIP-2 are existing under the same site.

So, my question is How can i handle the item transfer between the 2 WIPs to perform the 2 operations?

Hello,

I am a bit confused with how you use the expression WIP here.

Do you refer to a warehouse or to specific ledger accounts when you talk about WIP?

Is it that you need a ledger posting when a transfer between two warehouses occurs or are you looking for something else?
