Within PowerBI, we have a data hub drawn from D365 F&O. We are looking to build reports based on the project's sub-ledger but related to the general ledger, such as a more detailed or versatile WIP report. What should or could we use as the relational connection between the two ledgers to draw from them both when creating reports?
Our PowerBI developers are struggling to find a link or relationship they could use to connect the two perspectives/tables/sets, yet D365 can do it. So, what do you think we are not understanding?
Is voucher transaction the only connection?
