We are an RMS reseller and due to the overwhelming requests from our customers and what we've heard from other partners, we've developed an add-on for RMS that allows for much better gift receipt generation for customers.
The add-on uses your existing receipt printer, so there is no need to add a "second" printer, which many use for printing out quotes, layaways and work orders.
Here are the features that the gift receipt add-on allows you: 1. Allows you to print the gift receipt from the 40 column printer without having to add another printer.2. It lets the cashier choose which items go onto the gift receipt from the sales receipt.3. For stores that run different types of receipt printers it allows you to individually change the receipt settings for that till 4. Gift receipts are not stored in the journal. Cashiers can print off a gift receipt for older transactions simply by entering the receipt number.5. Once installed there will be a button on the right hand side in store ops that says "Gift Receipt" which makes it easy for the cashier to print.For those who believe this may be useful, please feel free to contact me and I can send you pricing information.
