Hi everyone!
I have a questing regrdin inserting a screenshot into system.
I’m trying to insert screenshots into a Case (Common -> Cases -> All Cases). I create a record on the Case log tab, and a special control appears — an editor. Here how it's look like:

The system allows you to paste a screenshot from the clipboard into this control, just like when inserting an image on this forum. The screenshot appears, but it disappears after saving, and I can't do anything about it.

Maybe someone has encountered this issue before or knows of another place in the system where you can paste an image and have it saved for display?

I'd appreciate any advice.

Hi,

I dont think its support as the pics are not saved anywhere. If you look your screenshot where you pasted the pic, it says "Notes" and notes dont support pics as they have to be either saved somewhere or embedded from another URL.

The only option I see is that you save the pics as attachments.

Hi Peter,

Pasting an image is not working like it is on this forum. To be able to show the image, there should be a reference to an existing picture on the web or an accessible file/blob storage.

for security reasons, in particular cross-site scripting (XSS), you can't see the screenshot.

Thank you experts, really epriciated.
Do you have any ideas, how to make a process for attaching screenshots easier for the users?
I know about solutions which make possible to insert files using drag and drop to aspecial place on the form, but it works when you already have a saved file, but what a solution can be if i have a screenshot in clipboard.

Thank you Mohamed Amine Mahmoudi I am well aware about basic attachments,.

I am asking about easy and user friendly way to attach screenshots, especially from clipboard if it possible.

No, not out of the box unfortunately. You will have to make a customization if you want this functionality.
