Business Central Web Services Page not showing in Power Apps

Hi All,

I am trying to use the Business Central (on-premises) connector in PowerApps to access data for an app.

We have exposed a page (Purchase Line) through Business Central Web Services but are currently unable to see it in PowerApps when we click on the Business Central (on-premises) connector.

In fact, the connector always populates the same list of tables under its "choose a table" option, regardless of how many new pages we expose on the Web Service. Any help on this issue?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

have you tried with a custom connector ?

Yes, tried with a custom connector. Apparently there is a bug which prevents data from being viewed in PowerApps when the URL path contains special characters like commas or parentheses

If the amount of data is not too extensive, you could use a power automate to request the data via an odata call.

    Hi Rashid,

I have the same issue withe BC Connector. Did you manage to solve this issue?

    Thanks

If the issue is special characters, why not change the BC company name?

Other ways to connect e.g. OData web-services will must likely also struggle with specific characters

For me its not the company name, it the standard BC connector.

When you add a new web service for a table in BC, that table is not available to select when using the BC connector.

aha I see. The BC connecter exposes (some?) API pages, not web services that you publish.

You can still use the web services as Rest API on the OData endpoint.

If you have onprem BC, than make sure your ODATA endpoint is reachable through your firewall. Otherwise Cloud Flows won't be able to reach it.
