Error while creating a reversing entry - The reversing date must be later than the transaction date

Hi everyone, 

We need to post some general journal entries with the transaction date later than the reversing date in order to assign the correct competence date of posted invoices. 

But we find this error message: The reversing date must be later than the transaction date.

Last year we were able to post the general journal entry in this way (transdate > reverse date) : is this a recent check / limit? How can we get over the error and post the transactions?

    Hello Camilla,

    I am not sure about your version and also I am not sure how you create the reversing journal entry. It is not possible to post reversal with a date before the transaction date. There was a bug in validation for reversing created through DMF, but this has been fixed in 10.0.12.

    Hello Michal,

    Yes, also Microsoft Support gave us this answer. The reported issue on 10.0.12 was addressed that both manual and imported journals with transaction date later than reversing date should not be posted.
