Hi, Experts,

My First time for Appsource Submission, Microsoft suggested to have upgrade code in extension , I did not wrote upgrade codes untill now in extensions .

Even If I try , now I am not able to understand , what logic I write in upgrade codeunit , I don't have idea which tables will be obselete in future , no default code need to initiate in my extension.

Do I really need to write upgrade code, if yes , then how? Please help me.. It's seems challenge for me.

Hi, If your application has been published on AppSource for a long time, there are some breaking changes that need to be processed, which may cause data transfer, such as moving the value of a deprecated field to a new field. These processes are all in the Upgrade codeunit. For example, in the following example, you can get the version number and which versions below need to migrate data.

Subtype = Upgrade;
