Does AX 2009 compatible with SQL Server 2014?

We are currently running AX on a Windows 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 as back end. We are planning to upgrade SQL Server to 2014. Do you know if this is possible AX 2009 supports it?

    Hi VDY,

    I have configure AX 2009 SP1 in SQL 2012 SP2 in development environment and it is working fine.

    Does AX 2009 SP1 work with SQL 2012 SP2 or SP3?  Microsoft document has reference of only SQL 2012 SP1.

    Thanks Andre, just noticed that there is a typo in my question's title, not sure how can I correct it.

    Thanks so much for your reply, I had already checked the site you suggested but it doesn't mention  SQL Server, there is almost no reference to SQL 2014 online as well regarding if it will work or not, but as you mentioned, yes we were thinking in rolling the upgrade to production once DEV, QA and Staging were updated, just wanted to get a sound foundation in whether it will work or not before upgrading.

    Hi JR,

    You can download the latest system requirements guide here: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    SQL Server 2014 is not supported. However probably it will work, but if it is a production environment, I would not take that risk.
