Good afternoon.
I have a grid that comes from a temporary table with a series of data but I need to generate in two of its columns the total sum of those columns, how can I do it?
Hi Reinyer Taylor,
Do you want to sum 2 columns per row and show the sum in the third column?
no, I want in the last row you add the columns but it appears as totals
I think there are not so many options in this case.
1. You can add separated controls outside the grid and use display methods to calculate the sum of all lines. It will not look like a summary for the grid, but functionally it will be the same thing.
2. You can take a look at table control stoneridgesoftware.com/.../
Hi Reinyer,
How is this temporary table populated? Potentially, during creation, you can add an additional row with the totals?
First of all, I do not recommend that you add calculated rows to the Grid, because it may have other effects during use, such as sorting or filtering.
You should add controls below the Grid and implement calculations by coding, you can refer to this blog.https://erpdax.wordpress.com/tag/sum-value-in-form/
Or replace Grid, use table or report
Hmm, it's a copy of my blog post, word for word. :-/
