add "regarding to" field in opportunity activities

Hi All

I want to add "regarding to" field in all activities in Opportunity form. because user can link activities to opportunity.

Imagine user want to outgoing call to someone about her opportunity, so after open opportunity and select on contact, and then click on the phone number (and then talk with 3CX). after call, CRM add call log on CONTACT activities but I want to add call log add to Opportunity. how I can add "regarding to" field in phone/task activities in Opportunity form.

    Do you have any idea to how link (regarding to) incoming and outgoing call to opportunity? without create 2nd (duplicated) record manually?

    Hi,

    If you are looking to customize and add field in the social pane then its not supported/ possible.

    exactly I wanna add regarding in social panel, because 3CX created record for incoming & outgoing phone activities and if I have to create separate activity with regarding to opportunity, I added two record for one activity; one manually and one automatically (by 3cx)

    Hi,

    Ideally you should be selecting the opportunity in the regading field so that it appears in the contact as well. If you can't control this then you can create a new lookup field on Task/ Phone call (Regarding Opportunity).

    The field added will be visible on the normal activity form and not on the social pane quick create form. You can't customize social pane.
