Hi,

When i post a project PO with non-stocked items. Sometimes the cost appears in Posted project transactions and sometimes not.

I checked the accounting distributions in PO <View distributions > and i notice that some lines don't have Project ID.But in the PO form the field is complete.

Here the images links:

I am using AX 2012 R2 CU7.

Thanks in advance

    Hello Hugo,

Are you always using the same item or does it depend in the item that is used whether you see the costs or not?

Can you check the item model group setup of your items and share a screen print here?

The non-stocked items that you mentioned are they setup as products or services?

    Best regards

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwing,

It only happen with non-stocked items because when the item is stocked it generate a physical reserved inventory (https://prnt.sc/ibv4re) and you can manually charge the proyect cost with a packing slip posting (http://prntscr.com/ibv2py).

I'm seeing the problem with more than one item. The non-stocked items are setup as services (http://prntscr.com/ibv9li) (https://prnt.sc/ibvcgq).

    Thanks

    Hugo

    Hello Hugo,

    Further above you mentioned

... When i post a project PO with non-stocked items. Sometimes the cost appears in Posted project transactions and sometimes not...

Can you identify the transactions and items used when posting the costs worked and when it did not work?

There must be something special with the items for which it worked. Probably they have a procurement category attached or they are linked to a project category whereas the others are not. Also check if the items for which the cost transaction worked have the same item model group attached than the items for which the cost transaction did not work.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi All

I think committed cost issue is not cleared till now? I m having the issue of getting committed cost which is not appearing in by Project budget. All other setup done correctly.
